Yes and no. You can say, hey google, broadcast “blah blah”. It will announce that message to every device in your home but, the other person will have to do the same. They can’t just respond without saying hey google broadcast “I’m fine” or whatever.

The parents would need to say "Google broadcast to 'name xyz'" to replay only on the kitchen device. Leaving out the device name will broadcast the message on all devices in the home.
