• This runs KitKat AndroidOS. It is possible to upgrade to Lollipop via Lenovos roadmap page on their website, however that upgrade has not been pushed out as of this writing. As an owner of this tablet I can say that I have had 0 issues with apps running. Every app I use and download runs perfect. Hope that helps!

• I have not had any issues with what i have downloaded from the app store but it all depends on what the app is aka a heavy game that may not work at all or a non secure app ..etc

• hi,DJ. I have the same A7Tablet, the kitkat OS with 16GB storage capacity, great for me to download movies,play games,mail, web streaming.you can download apps from Google playstore. Hope helps.
