You can use googlevoice or another program to use this as a "phone". There are versions of the P11 that do take a sim card but this is not one. It's an OK tablet but many who have it (including ME) have had trouble using voice typing if google assistant is left to always respond to "OK google" I spend days trying to solve this and almost returned it, but really, reaching up to push the google assistant button is not so bad, even when I am driving. (One touch is legal in my state)

You can create a WiFi HotSpot with a compatible cell phone then connect this Tab P11 Tablet to that WiFi signal. We recommend you contact your cellular provider for more information.
