- Answer I had a Lenovo laptop and the battery lasted about 2 years. Clip on type. Newer built-in type About 2-3years. BTW Lenovo support is not very good so better off getting battery yourself. Even built-in batteries are not hard to change. Make sure power off and not plugged in when changing battery.

- Answer If it has one it will be in the front on right side of by number pad. Slot just under face of laptop. Looking at bottom by front lip. Hope this helps.
