Battery: 3c 53 Wh Li-Ion Up to 10 hr. Speakers: Yes USB3: 2 on Right; 1(always on) on Left (As per Lenovo User Guide)

The down firing speakers are on the bottom of the laptop near the front. It has 3 USB 3.0 ports, and another USB 3.0 that doubles as the AC input. The $879 version youre referring to is the outgoing broadwell model with no Pen input

There are 3 USB ports (not sure the ratio of 3.0 to 2.0 ports, but there are 3.0s), and the speaker is remarkably loud from my laptop experiences.
