“mouse/trackpad I have to do a lot of typing and with most laptops the mouse pad can make that a real pain, on my current laptop I just hit a button and I can turn my mouse pad off as to not brush the pad with my wrists causing my document to do things I don't want so on this laptop can you turn the mouse pad off?”

• Yes, you can turn the touchpad off in the systems settings > devices > mouse & touchpad > toggle the touchpad from on to off.

• You can turn off the touch pad. You go into your windows settings, choose devices, then mouse and touch pad, then additional mouse options, then go to the thinkpad tab and click the box to turn the touchpad off.
