QuestionThe description on BestBuy website says that this has 8 cores 16 threads, but the 2700U only has 4 Cores. Which is it? If it's the 4 core the description should be changed on the website because it's false advertising.

- Answer Model number 20KV000YUS, the Lenovo ThinkPad E585 laptop ships with the AMD Ryzen 7 2700U processor. This is a 4-Core/8-Thread architecture processor.

- Answer Of note, this should be a Ryzen 7 Pro 2700U CPU, which is scores better of most performance tests. It has a 4 physical / 8 logical cores and 10 GPU cores (thus the Vega 10 classification for the graphics). AMD's website does not indicate that they have a 8 core / 16 thread mobile APU available yet.
