QuestionSpecs say that it has an "i5 2.3Ghz-5300U" in the production name. In specifications it says it is an 8th Generation Core i5-4300U. Which version is it? Second Intel says the 4300U is a 4th gen and the 5300U is a 5th gen. What is the 8th gen referring to?

- Answer I bought mine for class (cyber security) and it has not let me down. I refurbished could mean anything from someone owning it for 2 days and returning it and they may have had to clean the hard drive to memory replacement. you really dont know, but they have a warranty.
