It has a 16GB Sandisk U110 M.2 NGFF SATA SSD as a caching drive. The hard drive is a Seagate 500GB 7mm-height ST500LM021. In case you are curious, the 2.5" bay supports a max disk height of 7mm. The M.2 slot supposedly only performs caching functions, but if you don't mind voiding your warranty, you can reconfigure the BIOS to get it to act as a boot drive. It would probably be way easier to simply install an SSD in the 2.5" bay, though.
