The ram can be upgraded, it is NOT soldered on the main board.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This only has one slot for ram and is capped at 8GB. However, I have purposely tried maxing out the laptop with several resource hungry programs and have not had any sort of delay. Only really high resource programs may require a higher amount of ram, and at that point you really ought to be using a desktop for that particular application
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From what I can tell, No. Here is the reason why. This laptop only has 1 Ram slot, and it has 8 GB of ram. I do not think anyone has ever come around to making a 16GB module ram stick, I have done my research. Thanks,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on how you mean "upgrade". True, it's socketed, not soldered so perhaps you can find a faster clocked chip that will work with the rest of your system, but 8Gb is the largest memory size available for laptops and since there is only 1 socket, well, you've already got the most memory you can get in this machine.
