• Slow. Not snail slow but very slow considering its a gaming laptop.

• Brand new mine booted in about 8 seconds. Six weeks in and with some heavy software, it now takes about 30-40 seconds for complete boot.

• 7200 RPM, it's still slow Just buy a cheap SSD and you are all set.
