I can play fallout 4 on this laptop with the graphics settings on high, at max settings it laggs a bit.

Yes it can. It has 8 gigs of really fast ram, and an invidia GeForce 960m graphics card with 4gigs of gddr5 ram. It would load much faster with an SSD upgrade vs the included fairly slow spinning drive
