Check with the software publisher for the minimum/recommended requirements to run the software, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

Editing Yes. I have used Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop with out a problem. I have a 2 yr. HP laptop with AMD A-10, & 12 Gigs of Mem. I also have an ASUS Tower with the Newer A-10 chip sets. The CPU &* GPU can handle the video editing that I do, better then my 2 yr Mac. I have check out this laptop at a Best Buy this FX chip set and R 9 graphic, runs rings around an Intel i7 and GForce graphics card. The AMD set up is better & cheaper then the Intel set up, of the Same Lenovo Laptop. YouNow, should also work fine, with this Laptop. If you can either add 4 or 8 more gigs of Ram, do so, you will see a difference.
