I have Comcast Motorola surfboard and it does support it. I think all kinds of wifi. However for battery, its not too long life (I think normal life 4 hours or so like other laptops). After it reaches 10%, it dies suddenly without warning in few minutes and no way to setup a warning at about 20% or so. But beware, read my review about touchpad. It has a bad touchpad.

I am in the middle of trying a bunch of things, but still no success. I chalk it up to Lenovo messing up on their proprietary battery software. Wifi only supports 2.5ghz N. Unless they have updated the model. Being a tech savy individual, I attempted to install a $25 2.5ghz-5ghz Intel AC chip only to find out that Lenovo locks down the mother board to only the equipment they deem. This kind of irked me because the wifi it had was not benefiting from my Google Fiber at home. Big disappointment. This has made me sway others from purchasing this product. Other than those two problems, my wife loves her "new" computer.
