• No ... Forum answers report that if you upgrade to "PRO" you lose the Lenovo loaded APPs ... still need to investigate that because I would like PRO too to have Remote Access capability.

• When I purchased this laptop I didn't look close enough and assumed it did have professional. It wasn’t until I went to join the laptop to our domain and notice it wasn't. I had to purchase the upgrade through Microsoft for an additional $99.00.

• Yes; comes with win 8.1, however you will have to install the updates. Some of the bloat ware from Lenovo can be cumbersome and I ended up disabling and uninstalling them.
