Is the 128gb SSD and the 8GB RAM upgradable? null

Yes, you can upgrade the memory and SSD. Two issues though: the 9 screws to remove the under cover are (I think) P5 Pentalobe screws (https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Tools/P5-Pentalobe-Screwdriver-Retina-MacBook-Pro-and-Air/IF145-090-3) only one memory slot

Yes they can, only one slot for ram though.

8GB is the maximum RAM for this system. There are configurations of this system with 256GB SSD
