“Does this unit have a fan? Is it noisy, this configuration is using intel i5, so I am assuming it now use a fan?”

Unfortunately, this model is prone to fan noise after awhile. I have had for about 2 months. I can no longer return to Best buy, so Lenovo is sending me a box so that I can ship the computer to them so they can repair the fan. What can I say. Disappointed. And many folks have reported a noisy fan.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It doesn't have a visible fan and there is absolutely no noise from the laptop. There may be something smaller inside for minor airflow. The bottom gets warm but not hot and I've had zero overheating issues with heavy usage.
