QuestionCan anyone give me a link for buying the stylus for this laptop? . I always get confused about the terms stylus, stylus pen, digitizer pen etc. Can somebody recommend me the compatible software needed for the use of stylus while taking class note?

- Answer http://www.officedepot.com/mb/a/products/434388/Urban-Factory-Smart-Stylus-Universal-Stylus/fromLocalBrowse=false Works fine. Not good for taking notes or drawing. Those require a pen with a tip which the 710 is not compatible. I even bought the Wacom Bamboo, doesn't work.

QuestionThe laptop specs says that is supposed to last 8 hours long but everytime i boot up my laptop at full charge, it says that i have only like 3 hours and 30 minutes remaining and my battery drains quickly at that too. Does anyone know why this is? remedy?

- Answer Check your power settings in the control panel. The 8 hours battery life is in the conservation mode. It sounds like your computer is set for performance mode.

- Answer I bought a stylus at staples for 14.00 it works fine but it is horrible for taking notes or trying to draw things like graphs. I can't find one that has the fine tip for accuracy. I bought the Wacom Bamboo from the Wacom website. They will tell you it is compatible with the 710, but don't bother because it is not. I'm still on an endless journey to find one but no luck so far.

- Answer The limited warranty states that you are entitled to parts and labor repair covered under warranty through a courier depot or customer carry in service center. So either through the mail, where I believe the cost of shipping and delivery to the service center is paid for, or you can carry it in yourself to a service center, where available, but you do so at your own risk and expense.

- Answer You will have to take off the bottom cover and unplug the connector. It like a Macbook in terms of maintainability. In other words, not very maintainable by theaverage user.

- Answer It may run solidworks and other CAD software a little slow, everything else will be quite fast. Look for a laptop with a Nvidia quadro or Telsa or a AMD firepro if your running CAD software. Those laptops are very expensive though 2k+.
