“Before I buy, two questions: First - Does this laptop get hot with basic use/are you able to use in your lap comfortably? I am using a HP Spectre x360 now and can't use in lap due to hot temps. Second - is the webcam at the top or bottom of the screen?”

The camera is not at the bottom as "Lenovo product expert" suggests. It's a small on top of the screen (the device being in laptop mode)

My old laptop used to get crazy hot, but I haven't noticed it at all with the Yoga 720. The webcam is located at the top of the screen, but if you flip it into the tent position it is at the bottom.

There is a fan onboard to keep the system within nominal operating temperatures. The web cam on the Yoga 720-13 is at the bottom of the screen, to make a near borderless frame on three sides of the screen.
