This is a high performance system with its Quad-Core/Eight-Thread Intel Core i5-8250U processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB solid state hard drive. It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this too is normal.

Please try again later.its relatively quiet since it doesnt have a fan. what it does have is defective hinges that will break free and break your screen when you try to open the laptop. this is not covered under warrante. they do not stand by their products. it will cost you more to repair - within a year - than to buy a new cheaper laptop.
