The orange light blinking twice on a Lenovo Yoga usually indicates a charging or battery protection fault, not normal charging behavior. Here’s what it typically means and what to do: The laptop is not detecting a proper charge. This can be caused by a bad charger, a faulty USB-C charging port, or an internal battery issue. First steps to try: ★ Power the laptop completely off. ★ Unplug the charger from both the laptop and the wall. ★ Hold the power button down for 30 seconds (this drains residual power). ★ Plug the charger directly into a wall outlet (not a power strip) and reconnect it. ★ Try a different USB-C charger if you have one that meets Lenovo’s wattage requirements. If the orange light continues blinking twice after this, it usually points to a hardware problem (battery, charging circuit, or port), especially on a system that’s only two weeks old. Because the laptop is brand new, this is not normal behavior. If troubleshooting doesn’t resolve it quickly, you should return or exchange it through the retailer or contact Lenovo support for a warranty repair. Do not keep troubleshooting a new device with charging faults.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It could be a faulty charging cable, a faulty battery, or a bad port on the laptop. I would reach out to Lenovo if replacing the charging cable doesn't allow the device to charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are still under warranty, I would contact Lenovo support. You might have a bad charger, bad battery, or bad charging port. Bad charger or battery is an easy replacement, if it's the charging port I would request a new laptop versus a repair for a laptop that is only 2 weeks old.
