“i really would like to know the manufactures reason for releasing this version with its subtile differences. was it an attempt to fix significant defects? i Just do understand how they justify the 200 dollar price difference, something is up here?”

I was just at Best Buy and they mentioned this has a newer, faster SSD and comes with Windows 10 Pro, but I don't see anything on the site mentioning either.

Please try again later.It's the exact same price as the original, it's just that currently the original is on sale/clearance on Best Buy, probably because it's being faded out for this new model. The only difference is the change from the i7-6500U (which has HD 520 graphics) to the i7-6560 (which has Iris 540 graphics) which is slightly better.
