“I have the 8gb 256gb non-4k model. I have tried a usb-c and hdmi dongle from amazon to connect to an external monitor, but it did not work. Can anyone tell me what model of usb-c to hdmi adaptor that works and provide me the link if possible. Thanks.”

We have successfully tested: Startech DTK30CHPD, Cable Matters 201018-BLK, Cable Matters 201014, QacQoc GN30H. We had problems with the HooToo Shuttle HT-UC002. It was intermittent. All from Amazon.

Be sure you are using the correct port before you purchase another adapter.
