This is a Chromebook. It uses Google Docs for office type programs. Google Docs is completely compatible with Microsoft Office Programs and this is a free service through the Google Server. If you must have the actual Microsoft Office Programs, you can purchase Microsoft Office 365 for this Chromebook at the Google Play Store.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.as others have mentioned it's a Chromebook so it uses Google Docs without any issue as a longtime Microsoft Office user if you're just doing regular documents it's got more than enough features if you do specifically need to use words you can load the Microsoft Word app on the device or you can use Office 365 the whole point at this point if you'll excuse the pun is that you can do almost everything online there are some esoteric features of word that you cannot do unless you're actually using a Windows version of it but I don't run into that that often and even when I do I use a product called Shadow PC which allows me to access a Windowscomputer for about $13 a month which is more than worth it
