“I purchased this model from bestbuy. Battery is not stable to show remaining changes, sometimes it says 6 hours and after few minutes says the remained time 3 hrs. Bestbuy web site says battery life is 15 hours. Mine shows only 6 hours when fully charged.”

The battery life indicator approximates the remaining battery life based on historical usage patterns . If your computer is new, it is most likely still learning your actual usage patterns. The estimates will become better over time. Check the actual battery life times you are getting versus the estimated battery life approximations, you will see your actual battery life is better than the estimates.
