“Is this fan quiet? I am looking at another microwave that says "Quiet fan ventilation" in the website description. This microwave does not mention "Quiet" in the description.”

The fan is moderately noisy, but liveable. I was surprised that it came on every time you use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Callie, When the microwave is running the fan goes on, quite quiet..actually I thought it was just part of the micro. running. When you actually turn the micro fan on..the low is not bad, but the high power sounds loud..but I feel it is doing a good job. I haven't had the micro only about a couple of weeks.. Callie, if you buy this model, the melt and soften option the directions are wrong in the manual. You have to press melt, then a # will appear, you have to go to the # pad and press your selection for what you want to melt or soften. I actually thought something was wrong with these two functions..couldn't get micro to work. Hope this helps..Nice micro without to many extras. Great for the money! Good luck with you decision
