In your installation kit you’ll find: Type A screws (×2) for attaching the L-bracket behind the inner sill to prevent the unit from tipping forward Type B screws (×4) for fastening the adjustable side panels to the window frame Troubleshooting Step • After seating the air conditioner in your window, double-check that the L-bracket is flush against the back of the inner sill and firmly secured with the two Type A screws. This prevents vibration and keeps the unit locked in place. Make sure to tighten until snug, but avoid over-torquing and stripping the screw heads.
