“We have our sound bar set on Auto Power On. We only turn our tv off when we leave, not the sound bar. When we turn the tv back on the sound does not come back on without using the power button on the SB remote. Is this normal?”

I think it's to allow the soundbar to cool down, thus lasting longer. It doesn't bother me, but I'm sure there's probably a way around it.
