If you want to control the sound from your TV remote on an Insignia TV, no, the LG Sound bar is not compatible for pairing via bluetooth to the TV. However, the sound bar itself works fine hooked up directly to the Insignia TV using the sound bar remote control that comes with it. You just can't pair it to your TV to get rid of having to use the extra remote for the sound.

You might be able to find some shelves that you can mount on the wall right under the TV that will be able to hold the unit. These can be found at retail outlets like Best Buy or through online retail sites. ^CP
