• The hdmi input on the sound bar is an ARC connector from your tv to the sound bar. It’s similar to Dolby sound but next level. The hdmi/ARC cable has an input and output end so make sure you plug it in accordingly. I don’t know what you mean about a sound bar playing video? The sound bar has Bluetooth connection for music etc.
