QuestionIt says you can integrate optional surround speakers with this soundbar? Wouldn’t you need to buy a 5.1 system to make this work? Or does this have capability to separate the channels and you can add speakers as you go? I purchased the LG OLED65C7P

- Answer The previous model of the surround speakers - Model: SPJ4-S - will also work with this. I bought an open box for $25.99 and is working like a charm.

QuestionIs the Atmos feature activated at all times, or do I have to connect via optical cord or HDMI to make it work?

- Answer Atmos will only pass through on HDMI. I am using HDMI audio out of the 4K blu-ray player to the soundbar to get the Atmos sound.

- Answer The hdmi input on the sound bar is an ARC connector from your tv to the sound bar. It’s similar to Dolby sound but next level. The hdmi/ARC cable has an input and output end so make sure you plug it in accordingly. I don’t know what you mean about a sound bar playing video? The sound bar has Bluetooth connection for music etc.

- Answer Hi Becky. We regret to read about the loud popping that the Subwoofer on your LG - 2.1-Channel Hi-Res Audio Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer - Black, Model # SK8Y is making and apologize for any inconveniences. Unfortunately, there is no way to determine if there is an easy fix for this without inspecting the unit to determine what the cause is. The simplest thing you could try is to power cycle the Soundbar to see if that resolves the issue. Pressing and holding the power button on the unit for about 30 seconds then letting go and plugging the unit back in will power cycle it. If that does not resolve the issue, the unit will require a repair service...^IFV
