i had this setup above fireplace and works great. No issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My son in law mounted theirs on a fireplace with the sound bar attached and it sounds great. The key if you want the best sound is where you place the sub-woofer. Try to place it somewhere behind where most people sit. Also, be careful mounting the sound bar on the TV. When I tried to place mine on the bottom of the set, it covered up the remote control sensor. Another option for a fireplace installation is to set the sound bar on the fireplace mantle. You are going to have some sort of cord covers running to the TV anyway, so this would just add another wire and since the sub-woofer is wireless, once it is paired you can put it most anywhere in the room.
