- Answer Neither the LG SL4Y 2.1 Channel 300W Sound Bar w/ Bluetooth Streaming nor any of our other current Soundbars have a 75-Ohm Coaxial Digital Audio port on them. Our Soundbars feature an Optical Digital Audio (Toslink) input and if you need to connect to a device that has a Coaxial Digital Audio Out, you will need to purchase a converter that features an Optical Digital Audio Out and a Coaxial Digital Audio In that you can use to make the necessary connections. If your local Best Buy does not carry the converter in-store, you can find it on BestBuy.com...^IFV

- Answer There is not much involved in installing the LG SL4Y 2.1 Channel 300W Sound Bar w/ Bluetooth Streaming other than either pairing it with your TV via Bluetooth or the device that you are looking to stream audio from or connecting the Optical Digital Audio Input on the Soundbar to the Optical Digital Audio Output on your TV if it has one...^IFV

- Answer You do not pair the soundbar to your tv. It connects via included optical cable. Then you need change the sound source from tv speaker to optical out from the tv menu.

- Answer Regrettably, the remote control for your Insignia NS-40D420NA18 is probably not a TV remote that can be programmed to control some of the functions on the LG SL4Y 2.1 Channel 300W Sound Bar w/ Bluetooth Streaming. Not all TV remotes support this function. The Soundbar is not defective...^IFV

- Answer That will depend on the degree of your hearing loss. You will need to go to an audiologist for a hearing test. The audiologist will determine if your hearing loss is mild or more severe. The degree of hearing loss is based on how loud sounds need to be for you to hear them. If you can only hear sounds when they are at 30 dB, you have a mild hearing loss. You have a moderate hearing loss if sounds are closer to 50 dB before you hear them. You can always adjust the volume on the LG 2.1-Channel 300W Soundbar System with 6" Subwoofer, Model # SL4Y so it is audible even if you hard of hearing, but as you are aware from your own experiences, the perception of how loud something is decreases with increasing distance. How far you will be sitting from the Soundbar will factor into how much you need to turn up the volume for the Soundbar to hear it depending on your degree of hearing loss without have it too loud to disturb your neighbors...^IFV

- Answer No it doesn't, only receive. I ended up purchasing an Avantree HT5009 Wireless Headphones system (with the optical pass through) from Amazon. This is working great with the LG sound bar.

- Answer We live in a mobile home, our space is good but not super big. So the sound from this Soundbar is good & goes well with our new 70" TV. We are also in a 55+ community, we like the sound effects, especially with action movies, sports, but it all depends on how big your place is. Hopefully this helps
