QuestionHello. I bought this soundbar yesterday, and I plugged everything in to see if it would work with my tv. When I turn it on however, it only stays on for 10 seconds and then it shuts off. How can I stop this from happening?

- Answer When you turn the 2.1ch 300W Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer, Model # SH3K on for the first time, the Auto Power function is turned on. If the unit is turned on automatically with the Auto Power function, it will automatically turn off if there is no signal coming from the device to which it is connected after a certain period of time. If it receives a signal from the TV when a signal comes through the optical digital audio connection, the auto power function will turn the unit on after 5 seconds. Check to make sure that your TVis sending a signal via the Optical Digital Audio output...^IFV

QuestionI need more surround...if I bought a second subwoofer of the same kind and placed in a different part of the roomwill it work to enhance and spread the sound?

- Answer You will not be able to pair a second subwoofer to the LG 2.1ch 300W Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer, Model # SH3K. Pairing is limited to one Bluetooth device per unit and multi-pairing is not supported...^IFV

- Answer Your Blu-Ray DVD Player is connected to your TV which, if it has an Optical Digital Audio Output, will send any audio played through the TV out through that output and the LG - 2.1-Channel Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Digital Amplifier - Black, Model # SH3K connects to the TV's Optical Audio Output by connecting it with an optical cable to the Soundbar's Optical Digital Audio Input. When you switch the source on your TV to your Blu-Ray Player, you should get its' audio through the Soundbar...^IFV

- Answer It stands for Rear....I’m not sure which system you have, but this came up under the LG SL4Y 2.1, so I assume it’s that one.... like how the sl4y comes with a wireless subwoofer, LG makes a set of rear speakers that can connect with the unit for true surround sound... they are the LG SPK8-S...

You will need to take how far you'll be sitting from your TV or the size of your room into consideration when selecting which Sound Bar would be suitable for your environment...^IFV

- Answer Yes. its right below the master volume control for the soundbar on the remote. like the sound bar volume, there are 20 settings. this is really nice for fine tuning the bass level with your highs and mids. master volume also has 20 settings.
