is this bar compatible with my lg plasma tv? null

yeah and if you use the optical audio cable you can set the tv to external speaker mode and use the same remote that the tv comes with or the univeral remote from your service provider to perform the volume function. the flipside to this is that doing this is also what causes the sound bar to keep flipping inputs (like when these people are complaining about the bluetooth shutting off) unless you set up the 1 of 2 options they give you to not have the power function linked otherwise the tv will keep turning itself on and then the soundbar will change inputs.
