“haveing problems with voices cutting out but backgouund noises and music still being able to hear I purchased the new LG 2.1 SH4 300W sound bar exactually one week from today. When I bought the sound bar I brought it home and hooked it up to my LG tv, via optical cable. The sound sounded great for the first 3 hours. I was watching a movie when all of a sudden you could hear the sound effects, but no voices from the people. I changed the channel and then went back to the movie everything went back to normal. WERID I played it off no big deal just a small glitch. I thought maybe the Bluetooth was effecting the sound, but I never hooked it up. After owning the bar for a week now this has happened numerous times, and is getting very old. I will be returning the sound bar today and not sure if I will be purchaseing the same bar or a different brand all together.”

Doesn't sound like it's the bar. Sounds like the signal what we're you watching on what? Was it cable , satellite, HD, maybe HD, Internet,? I've personally heard a difference on none HD channels, and some providers say it's HD and it's not , and some times the dolby signal on Internet stuff gets lost. If you were watching a DVD player something is wrong, but depending on where your putting the optical cable, I have mine right from the TV so anything playing comes through no matter what uniit I'm using , chrome cast, cable , DVD, games
