• I would think it depends on the type of TV you have. If you have a slim TV then I would say no unless you find or create some adapter to install it on top. I have an HDTV and the top is too slim for the soundbar to be installed.

• If you mean above the TV ON the Tv, all modern TV's are very thin at the top - no depth to them - so the answer if that is the situation is NO. If you mean on a SHELF above the surface the TV is on - the answer is YES.

• The soundbar mounts to the wall, not the TV, so you can mount it anywhere you want or need to. It may sound odd coming from above the TV?
