QuestionYour video said to change the water filter that the first step is to turn off the water shut off valve. That is behind the refrigerator and I would have to move the unit from the wall. Is there any’ solution to this problem.

- Answer I changed my filter by clearing off the top shelf, putting a towel over it to collect any drips and then just opening the little cover door for the filter and carefully unscrewing it and installing the new one. The filter opening closes itself when You unscrew the filter and reopens itself when the new filter is screwed back into the opening. Pretty simple.

QuestionHow many ice cubes and how fast? Bought a Whirlpool that takes forever to make 6 ice cubes!!!!

- Answer Don't think I can answer this question specifically, but we bought the unit in November last year and have never come close to running out of ice. We use a lot of ice per day for two people. I'm going to estimate we use 6-8 cubes per time and probably use the ice dispenser 8-10 time per day each. So I'm guessing we probably use 150 cubes per day and the ice unit is always full. I would then estimate it makes at least 6 cubes per hour

QuestionCan someone tell me for sure if I will have to manually defrost a 1/4 to 1/2 in of ice build-up in this freezer at least once a year? The specifications for the freezer say "No frost -- NO" and Freezer type - "Manual". In the 21st century hard to believe.

- Answer New standards on appliance efficiency almost require the computer (main board) decides when, how long & how often to defrost modern fridges. Tracks door opening & compressor cycles. But can't track humidity, drain icing or door seals. Any and all of these things cause frost build up. Thanks Obama's EPA. Only least expensive smaller basic fridges have mechanical defrost if any do in 2021

- Answer Hi Wayne876. In the U.S. the standard is 120V and 60 Hertz AC. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 21.7 cu.ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled InstaView™ Door-in-Door® Counter-Depth Refrigerator, Model # LSXC22396D has to be plugged into its own dedicated outlet rated at 115 V, 60 Hz ( 115 volts is outdated and typically no longer supplied by utilities. However, 115 volts nominal may be referred to by equipment design standards as this is the Nominal Utilization Voltage as defined by ANSI C84.1.) 120 volts is the common lower voltage supplied by US utilities. It is provided by the utility as 120 volts ±5%. The refrigerator cannot be changed to a 50 Hertz frequency...^IFV
