- Answer I was told by delivery person to leave the freezer at 0 and the refrigerator section at 37 degrees. It says Freezer and Refrigerator on the door.

QuestionI can't find information on how to change the air filter on my unit. Every picture or video I have seen on LG refrigerator air filter replacement has a different looking cover. Mine is flat and recessed a bit. Any info please?

The most common substance used for refrigerator water filter is activated carbon. LG water filters are made from Korean premium carbon block, along with Japanese coconut activated carbon. There is no other filter in the refrigerator...^IFV

QuestionI also called Best Buy to find out when they’d be getting more of these models in stock and they said they were expecting a delivery from LG ASAP. They said LG knows the restock date. Does LG plan on making this model available again at Best Buy?

- Answer No it's water only. Icemaker is in the freezer drawer. The door would be huge and take up a lot of the smaller space if it had ice too.

QuestionI see in an LG video that to change the water filter you need to shut off the water supply first. That seems a hassle, if it's behind the fridge. I've changed filters on other fridges without doing so. Is it really required??
