“Our new LG refrigerator will not go below 39 degrees actual measured inside temperature ? The thermostat is set to the minimum 33 degrees and its been a week. Is this normal ?”

No this isn’t normal. You should call the manufacture number in booklet and request service. This will be free with warranty.

Our temperature is working. We just tested it by lowering the fridge temperature to 33 and within 15 minutes it went down to 35 according to the thermometer that we bought and placed on the top shelf.
