- Answer The doors on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG Ultra Capacity 3 Door French Door Refrigerator, Model # LFC24770ST have their own liners and gaskets so they can be opened independently of one another. Some models of refrigerators with a mullion in them require that you open the doors in a particular sequence, but that is not an issue on this refrigerator...^IFV

QuestionSpace needed to install French Door refrigeratorI am installing this French Door refrigerator next to a wall. How much space is needed between refrigerator and that wall for the door to open wide enough (beyond 90 degress) so I can remove crisper drawers for cleaning?

- Answer The freezer comes with (2) drawers that pull out when you open it. There is easy access to anything you have stored in the bottom. I've provided a photo.

- Answer Hi Brad1. Thank you for your inquiry. LG is an international company that has worldwide factories where their products are manufactured. Parts for these products are shipped from various locations throughout the world and to keep the cost of the product down, they are assembled in countries close to where the products are sold. So for the LG 23.6 cubic foot French Door Refrigerator, Model # LFC24770ST, the closest countries that assembles it and puts the "Manufactured in ..." label on it are either Mexico or Canada. Usually there is a data tag on the unit that specifies which country the product was manufactured in...IFV

QuestionFingerprints?What is the finish like? Does it show fingerprints?

- Answer It can be washed very easily with only soap & water. No SS cleaner needed. Doesn't really get finger prints, but will show smudges if stuff on hands when using fridge. It's easy to clean so no big deal. I clean with just hand soap.

- Answer Yes. The shelves are deep enough to easily hold a gallon of milk. The height is adjustable and could accommodate even a two liter soft drink bottle.

- Answer We bought this fridge and, like you, did not want the ice maker hooked up to a water line, so we just didn't have the ice maker connected when the fridge was delivered and installed. No problem. The delivery guys just rolled the fridge over the the wall and plugged the appliance cord into the standard electrical outlet. We just make ice cubes the way we always have--with ice cube trays filled from the tap--put them in the freezer, and dump them into the bin after they freeze. If the supply runs low, we make more ice cubes.

- Answer You have purchase the water line/connector separately, and you need to have a compatible shut-off valve (similar to a washer hook-up, I believe,) installed close by.

- Answer I live in a small row home in the Philadelphia area. Wen I purchased this refrigerator I was unsure about the entry way to my home and also the kitchen area entry. The depth of the refrigerator minus the doors is 28 inches. The service people had to remove my front door to get it into the house. They had to open the french doors on the unit to get it into the kitchen. I have a galley type kitchen but the unit fits in and it is a much needed upgrade. I am very happy with my purchase of this refrigerator.
