Parts for these products are shipped from various locations throughout the world and to keep the cost of the product down, they are assembled in countries close to where the products are sold. So for the LG 23.6 cubic foot French Door Refrigerator, Model # LFC24770ST, the closest countries that assembles it and puts the "Manufactured in ..." label on it are either Mexico or Canada. Usually there is a data tag on the unit that specifies which country the product was manufactured in...IFV

• LG is a Korean company. I look inside at the manufacturer sticker, and it says made in Mexico. I bought mine in Aug 2014, works perfect and very quiet. I also have LG TV, and LG Range, and LG Cell phone, all work perfect with no problems ever. I will be buying a LG washer and dryer soon.
