“Can the door open if the unit is flush against the wall? In our kitchen, the refrigerator is up against the wall. The door on our current unit opens into the wall, since the hinge allows the door to open without interference. Would anyone be able to tell me if a wall would interfere with the door opening (i.e. when the door is open 90 degrees, is the outside of the door flush with the side of the unit itself or does it protrude further). The doors on most french-door style units pivot too far to the outside of the unit to work in my situation. Thanks!”

I'm sorry to tell you the door does protrude past the side of the refrigerator.
