“Fridge arrived but I want to reverse the hinges. HOW? My fridge arrived 06/08/2015 but the delivery people told me i needed a kit to reverse the door. I schedule for the guys to reverse the door. Delivery company came today (06/11/2015), different guys than those that deliver the fridge. They ask me that i should have received the kit with the Fridge. So they told me to schedule yet another appointment with them. Very frustrating to have a fridge that opens to a window. I bought the LG fridge online but there was no place for me to tell them that I wanted the fridge door to open to the other side. home depot has checkboxes where you can simple click. but not best buy. ALSO I just got one from Best Buy and the consumption $ is different (the yellow sticker). my fridge had the same model with a /01 at the end. Stated $73 Annual Electricity Consumption rating (not $50 as advertised on best buy)”

So I wanted my door to hinge different than how it came. The day it was delivered the "setup guy" who delivered it went ahead and reversed the door for me. They should have done it for you on delivery... There is no need for a "kit". They are pulling your chain. As for the yellow consumption sticker. They yellow sticker is the approved consumption of the product as per the regulation... So, if Best Buy advertised it as a different consumption.. They will probably claim it as a " mis-print" but it is only as good as the yellow sticker. If you are really unhappy you can complain to Best buy and see if they can do something for you.

Bottom-Freezer Large Capacity Refrigerator with Ice Maker (Fits a 33" Opening), Model # LDC24370ST on page 19 through page , you will find explicit and detailed instructions on reversing the door opening direction. You will need a 1/4" Allen Wrench, 1/4" Hex Socket wrench, a 3/32" Allen Wrench and a 10mm or 13/32-inch socket wrench with a 2" extension. Have a Philips and Flat head screw driver handy and it would help to have a friend or someone else to assist you. If in doubt, read the manual first to get a list of the tools you'll need and to assess the skill level needed to undertake this. The EnergyGuide sticker attached to the unit that shows the Estimated Yearly Energy Cost as $73 is correct...^IFV
