I'ce taste like mold null

Did you install a new water line (hose)? Did you flush that water line before connecting it to the refrigerator (I filled a bucket with water)? Did you follow the instructions? You need to run/fill about 20 cups of water to flush the system when you first install it. Something like 30 seconds on, wait a minute or two, then repeat till you have run about 20 cups of water. Same with the ice - let the ice maker fill up, then dump the entire load of ice. We all love the taste (or lack of taste of) water. Flushing should also be done when you replace the water filter.

You might try using a a box of baking soda or changing your water filter. Also, make sure you keep doors shut completely and maintaing proper temperatures.
