“Have defrosting and ice build up issues been resolved Many amazon reviews indicate an issue with ice buildup on unit, and defrosting problems for refrigerators. One Best Buy reviewer mentioned this was a known issue on units manufactured between July and December 2014. Will someone from LG please advise if this issue is resolved and if I buy a new unit how would I identify the manufacture date to ensure it has the updated equipment.”

• The reported issues with regards to defrosting only affected 1 model of refrigerators and LG solved that issue right after taking claims and that issue has never come up again. You can contact our Customer Interactive Center (800) 243-0000 and have them direct you to the proper channels should you need more specific details...^IFV

• If I overfill the freezer, I can get some ice build up, but if I don't, it's fine. The air needs to be able to circulate
