It probably depends on how you intend to use the TV. If you are looking for home-theater type sound, you'll want to add external speakers. For my use as a secondary TV in my bedroom, the volume and sound quality are more than adequate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In a kitchen, or small room, the sound is adequate, but a tad low. It depends on the space where you are using it, and what your expectations are for a small screen tv.
