I followed up with a phone call to LG, but it wasn't until I got a supervisor on the phone that he gave me the really simple solution! The END light needed to be re-activated and it was as simple as holding the High Temp button for 5 seconds. Problem solved! No need to turn the power off or on. Grateful for the simple solution.

If the END light on your LG dishwasher turns off at the end of the cycle instead of staying on until the door is opened, try these troubleshooting steps: 1. Check the door latch and ensure it's securely latched within 4 seconds of pressing the start button or the dishwasher won't operate. 2. Reset the dishwasher by turning off the power and disconnecting from the power source for 5 minutes. Then, reconnect the power and see if the issue is resolved. 3. Inspect the control panel for any loose wires or damage cautiously, or contact a professional technician. 4. Check the user manual for any specific instructions or error codes related to the END light behavior.
