I believe it has something to do with its ability to use steam if that's the model you have, any of the non domestic dishwasher manufactures don't use a heating element since it is so wasteful of electricity. id go to LG's website or possibly youtube for an actual explanation of the "hybrid drying" cycle. I sell these.. and I have had some issues with LG's lately which is a bummer since they have the best washers, dryers, and TV's
