Hi Dave, I just installed mine yesterday and had the same question about this insulation piece as I could not remember exactly how it was installed. I believe that I figured it out and am including pictures of it installed. The area with multiple levels of cutouts fits over the water supply line area and the other end with just one large cutout fits in above the electrical junction box. On mine, this means that the side of the insulation pad with "NOISELITE" printed on it is facing outward (visible when installed), but the text is upside down. Hope this helps!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This was my biggest hurdle when installing my new LG dishwasher. After trying several different ways to put it on, I finally realized that the pad actually sits on top of the electrical box and sits snug and tucked a little back where it won’t fall down….our legs were set higher up and I kept positioning the pad where it met the floor but that was not the case afterwards you can easily put the metal plate back on. No where in the directions did it explain how this goes on or which direction the bottom plate goes on. This was quite annoying!

It’s installation instruction is yet to be made available in customer service and is only being provided to installers and technicians.
